About Education Society

The Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh Education Society was established in the year 1970

by the well-known visionary and social worker Late Shri. Devram Sayaji alias

Kakasaheb Wagh with the aim of imparting quality education in rural area. The

people of the area aptly gave him the title 'Karmaveer'.   The Government of India

acknowledged his social contribution by awarding him the 'Padmashree'.   He was

active in Social Work till his demise in 1973.  Then the reins of the Society were

passed on to Shri. P.J. Mogal and Shri. Balasaheb Wagh, and they have continued the

noble task by following footsteps of Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh. The Society is

registered under Society’s Act 1860 and Bombay Public Act 1950.  

 
 

Vision : Empowering through quality Education

Objectives of the Society

  1. To establish and run institutions to meet education needs of Indian Students, boys as well as girls in the areas of Technical, Health Sciences, Arts, Social Science, Cultural, Scientific, Vocational Education etc.
  1. To establish, affiliate and run Balwadis, Pre-primary, Secondary Schools, Colleges, Hostels, Libraries, Gymnasiums, Orchestra etc.
  1. To bring together all organizations having similar objectives with intention of enhancing educational standards, quality and overall development.
  1. To provide financial assistance to poor, needy, clever and deserving students, to give prizes for outstanding achievements.
  1. To receive Government approval and Financial Assistance for all institutions established for fulfilling the aims and objects of the Society.

Committed to serve the needs of society at large by imparting state-of-the-art Technical and Non Technical Education and to provide knowledge and develop attitudes, skills and values, leading to establishment of quality conscious and sustainable educational Institutions and research Centres.
